The entire design of the course echoes a mystical African history feel, which emanates from the incredible views and overbearing resort itself. The layout of the golf is superb and certainly hits the spot on the par three thirteenth hole which has been designed to take the shape of Africa. Additionally fairways have been carved out of the natural rock, providing the round with some dramatic elevations. Furthermore this hole features a number of water features with over forty crocodiles chewing on the limbs of errant golfers. The front nine holes of this layout is set to a desert theme, while the back nine are far more varied. With large waste areas and demanding bunkers throughout the round, this course is certainly one of the most testing in the area. Surrounded by the mountains and the unique Resort itself, playing a round at this course actually feels like being in a Hollywood blockbuster.
