Having opened in 2006 the course has gained more deserved appreciation each year due to its complex layout and compelling playability. Apparently during the construction of the course an astronomical three hundred and twenty thousand cubic yards were toyed with in order to create the perfect layout. After planting some trees and inserting some water features, the Celebrity is as much a testimony to creative engineering as it is to great golf.
