Built along the Waccamaw River, the layout features six hundred acres of Spanish Oaks intersected by marshes and lakes. Reverberating with a historical Carolinian charm, the layout immerses golfers with an awe-inspiring setting.  However playing this course is very much a story of ‘beauty and the beast’, since although it may look stunning it hides a demanding layout which tests golfers from the very first tee. Broad fairways and large landing areas disguise the difficulty of the course which is shrouded behind the façade of easy living.
